SANTHOM COMMUNITY HUB AND RESOURCE CENTRE
A re-elected Albanese Labor Government will commit $4 million to a new state-of-the-art multicultural community centre in Dandenong South.
The Santhom Community Hub and Resource Centre will host a range of facilities including a South Indian migration museum and libraries showcasing Malayalam literature and resources. It will also host programs for seniors and youth led by the vibrant and fast-growing St Thomas Syro-Malabar community.
The new centre will be open to the wider multicultural population of Greater Dandenong, fostering social cohesion and creating a space where individuals from all age groups and backgrounds can connect.
Consistent with past practice, election commitments will be delivered in line with Commonwealth Grants Rules and Principles.
