Businesses in the Dandenong region are set to benefit from a Federal Government service that will help boost productivity and increase international competitiveness.
Senator Kim Carr, Minister for Innovation, Industry, Science and Research, recently opened the Dandenong Manufacturing Centre, as part of the Federal Government’s $251 million Enterprise Connect network.

Mark Dreyfus MP, Federal Member for Isaacs, invited local businesses to become involved with the Enterprise Connect initiative and utilise the specialist advice and services to help increase productivity and increase global competitiveness.
“This is an exciting opportunity for local businesses to benefit from business advice, mentoring and financial grants,” Mark Dreyfus said.
“The Centre, and the Business Advisers, will help our businesses succeed, providing specialist advice about strategies and operations, benchmarking in business and manufacturing processes and access to latest research and technology.”
“SME’s in the region will be able to get help to become more productive and more competitive – building new markets and boosting their export readiness,” Mark Dreyfus added.
